kelly says hi

That little girl who is a proud owner of a black n97 mini goes by the name of Kelly W. She was born on this special date - The nineteen of December - and lives in a cozy house located in the sunny island of Singapore.

Like it or not, this is a place where she pens down her thoughts, feelings, and memories. & all those nonsensical things at times.

Without say, she appreciates tags and hellos; do leave a note for her before you go. (:

Some thoughts.
Haha, in the midst of the CTs and still daring to slack. :P I was just wondering about this issue. It's not really an issue, but something to ponder about. I shall not say that I did whatever I mentioned in this post or whatever. Let's just take it as smth to think.

Let's say, in front of you, there are 4 baby animals with their mum. They, the strays, are not exactly unhealthy or sick, just thin and hungry for food. Would you feed them or leave them?

To feed them, one can say that you are making them reliant on us humans. Hello? Like, you are not teaching them how to catch the fish rather by spoon feeding them. How are they going to survive after you're gone/ you're too busy?

To ignore them, is not that right either. Imagine, if let's say, one day you're in their shoes, hungry and desperate for help, wouldn't you want any hand to reach out to you?

Do you remember this story?

The Starfish Story

Once upon a time, there was a wise man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach before he began his work.

One day, as he was walking along the shore, he looked down the beach and saw a human figure moving like a dancer. He smiled to himself at the thought of someone who would dance to the day, and so, he walked faster to catch up.

As he got closer, he noticed that the figure was that of a young man, and that what he was doing was not dancing at all. The young man was reaching down to the shore, picking up small objects, and throwing them into the ocean.

He came closer still and called out "Good morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing?"

The young man paused, looked up, and replied "Throwing starfish into the ocean."

"I must ask, then, why are you throwing starfish into the ocean?" asked the somewhat startled wise man.

To this, the young man replied, "The sun is up and the tide is going out. If I don't throw them in, they'll die."

Upon hearing this, the wise man commented, "But, young man, do you not realize that there are miles and miles of beach and there are starfish all along every mile? You can't possibly make a difference!"

At this, the young man bent down, picked up yet another starfish, and threw it into the ocean. As it met the water, he said, "It made a difference for that one."

If we can make a difference, why not? However, there's another question to probe. How many differences are you going to make?

So what's your stand?

Blah blah blah. Okay, enough thoughts.
